Godfire: Rise of Prometheus has been made several times godlier, and at least two times fiery-er thanks to the new enhanced Android version of the 2014 actioner.

Folks with any Snapdragon 805 processor Android phone can experience the stunning power and beauty of this game. Whatever my qualms with the gameplay and overall experience may have been (review), one thing I cannot fault is just how damn pretty this game is. The enhanced version comes with all sorts of technical sounding updates like 'dynamic hardware tesselation', 'displacement mapping' and my favorite, 'subpixel morphological antialiasing'.

All of which means to say 'this isn't a game, it's a science experiment.' And that it's pretty; really, really pretty.

The update also comes with "Google Play Games Cloud Save functionality, which allows players to continue the adventure anywhere, anytime and on any compatible device, as well as a multitude of other gameplay improvements that make the experience sharper than ever."

The Nexus 6 smartphone will be the first mobile device to feature the Snapdragon processor-enhanced version of Godfire: Rise of Prometheus. Updates on additional devices supporting the enhanced version of the game will be announced at a later date.
