'Warhammer 40000: Space Wolf' Update Adds PvP But Removes Some Major Features As Well [VIDEO]
There are so many AI Orks and corrupt space marines you can defeat before you really, really have to start shooting "the most dangerous game" - people, that is. Thankfully, that time is now, as Herocraft have finally released the long awaited update to Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf that adds some quality player vs player action.
Participate in team-based 3v3 combat against your friends or strangers around the world in the iOS mobile title. Which is a great thing and we support this.
What we do not support, however, is the removal of the ability to replay old missions to earn coins. In a F2P environment, sometimes going through old single player quests, as pitiful a reward they may give us, is sometimes the only way. Because let's face it, most people will not spend money on a game - even if they really, really should.
Needless to say, people are a bit cross with this latest update and are even foregoing playing the game - and certainly not paying for it - entirely!
Things are never perfect, certainly not in the world of Warhammer. Luckily for you, there are plenty other Warhammer titles either in the works or currently available that you can invest your time and money into. Warhammer Quest, for instance, is a lovely premium title that asks nothing more of you besides your initial investment; if you're in the mood for a more traditional PC strategy game, you can try out Armageddon or Ascension.
What I am saying is, 'don't despair'. There are other Warhammers than this. But, you can download Space Wolf today for free via the App Store.
