Next 'Evolve' Weekend Challenge Offers Free Parnell Predator Skin: Two New Maps Available Today For PS4 & PC

In what's becoming a weekly event, Turtle Rock Studios and 2K Games are holding another Evolve community challenge this weekend, this one revolving around Assault class character Parnell. Along with that, two new free maps are available to download for PS4 and PC today after a month of Xbox One exclusivity.

Evolve Review: Is The Future Still Bright For The 4v1 Shooter?

The two new maps are called Broken Hill Mine and Broken Hill Foundry, and offer brand new environment types that can be playable in Extraction mode, offering brand new bonuses to the winner of the match.

They are available on all platforms right this minute- for more on these maps read our article here.

As for the weekend challenge, it kicks off 12:01 a.m. ET on Friday, May 1 and runs to 12:01 a.m. ET on Monday, May 4. The challenge this weekend is for people to play as Parnell and land 2,000,000 headshots on monsters while playing online. Do so and everyone will earn the Parnell Predator Skin, absolutely free. If the Evolve community manages to defeat this goal and earn 2,800,000 headshots on Monsters as Parnell, everyone will earn an entire Assault Predator Skin Set as a stretch goal bonus.

You don't have to play as Parnell yourself but of course, you won't be contributing to the cause if someone on your team doesn't. So don't do that. All you need to do is play a match online this weekeend to earn the free skins, if the challenge is met. The winning skin will be delivered to players by Thursday, May 7.

Are they going to give away all the skins packs for free at this rate? Let's see what Evolve has in store for us for next weekend.
