PlayStation 4's Batman Arkham Knight New Update And In Game Easter Eggs

Rocksteady's Batman Arkham Knight, that was made available for game consoles and PC, has recently received game updates which added new features such as Photo Mode and Support for the DLC pack.

Unfortunately, the new Batman Arkham Knight PlayStation 4 1.06 update doesn't include the fix for the Knightfall Protocol glitch. The glitch, according to some reports, prevents players to activate the option, despite having met the pre-requisites.

The update is approximately around 300MB and if previous updates have been downloaded, the update won't eat too much time to download, the report added.

On a lighter note, the update will have the Batman Arkham Knight Batmobile DLS Skins which will allow gamers to change the iconic batmobile's skin in all play modes, in exception of the Jokermobile.

The report also confirmed future releases of updates like the Crime Fighter Challenge pack, which will allow gamers to switch characters while playing the challenge map. According to the website, the update will let the players change characters, while playing between Batman and his allies Catwoman, Nightwing and Robin.

Over time, the Batman Arkham Knight has released DLC packs which gave the game a firm grasp on its target audience and Rocksteady has tons of updates to offer in the coming days.

The Red Hood and Harley Quinn story lines were concrete examples of previous updates that made the game more appealing to its target market.

In relation to the game's appeal to the market, the human mind is basically aroused to be curious whenever it is hinted that something might happen, either good or bad, in the future.

That being said, in-game Easter eggs and references is one of the simplest but effective ways to keep the gamers on their toes while playing the game and Batman Arkham Knight is no exception.

There are tons of in-game clues that are easily visible for those who have a keen eye for details.

Let us start the list with the Bat-Hound, the canine companion who made its debut in Batman#92 in June of 1955. The Easter egg can be found on Wayne's Tower inside the billionaire's office. A dog bowl gave it away.

There are tons of Easter egg clues inside the game but the most notable of them all if the Cape Crusader's greatest ally and foe, Superman.

Superman was given away more than once, which might only mean one thing: the Man of Steel will perhaps be included on the next Batman offering. Who knows?

Going back, another person that is synonymous with Superman is Lex Luthor, his arch nemesis.

Luthor did not only leave messages on Bruce Wayne's voicemail with intention to acquire a division of the Wayne Enterprises, the villain also flooded Gotham City with his Luthor Corp billboards which can be seen virtually all throughout the ravaged city.

However, the most notable of them all was the conversation among the thugs who were lamenting on Gotham's current state.

The hooligans mentioned, during the conversation, that only a caped freak who can fly is the only savior of the city. Sure, Batman has a cape but can he fly?

Batman Akrham Knight's current update did not only provide new in-game experience for gamers but also a hope for better and greater experience in the future. Hopefully a Batman and Superman tandem, who knows?
