Upcoming Final Fantasy XV Brings Back Chocobo, Square Enix Holds Details Of Its Relevance

It has been ages since the last time Chocobos is seen in Final Fantasy series. But fret not, the upcoming Final Fantasy XV will let players ride the lovable Chocobos again. According to PC Mag, Square Enix revealed, through a trailer, that the game will have Chocobos, but any details about it have yet to be revealed.

The information was provided during the Tokyo Game Show when Square Enix took the stage and presented their anticipated game. Aside from the Chocobo ride, Final Fantasy is known to have mundane tasks and the upcoming Final Fantasy is not on this one. Square Enix said that the game will also feature a fishing game, which is vital in the story of the game. If you find this odd, this was also what previous players of Final Fantasy VII when they were asked to breed a Chocobo, only to know that this is the only way to get King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table.

Going back to the fishing game, IGN reported that the game will feature several fishing rods for different types of fish to catch, and once the task is done, the fish will be cooked for the entire party to boost as they get ready for their next battle or something to that effect.

The Final Fantasy XV is one of the most anticipated games for 2016 and will be playable for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game consoles. The game will also feature an open-world environment for players and gamers to explore, in contrast to the traditional turn-based combat.

Final Fantasy XV was first revealed in 2006 and was planned for the last generation game consoles before Square Enix pushed back the project for undisclosed details. The game was again put into the limelight when the clamor for another Final Fantasy game broke out like wildfire.
