Comic Con 2012 hit a high note with fans of "Twilight" being surprised by Stephenie Meyer, the author of Twilight, as they were shown a rare seven minute video of the Twilight saga's last installment "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2."
There were two clips showed at Comic-Con 2012. The first showed Kristen Stewart wrestling a mountain lion and then eating it. The second, rather funny clip showed Cullen's family trying to tell Bella how to act human. The clip gave a clearer picture to its fans on the extent of part 2 and fans seemed receptive.
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed and Mackenzie Foy, Edward and Bella's daughter Renesmee, were all there to promote their film. The director of the movie, Bill Condon, who could not come to the event due to the recording of the score, appeared via video.
Many Twilight fans slept overnight for a chance to catch a glimpse of the famous stars. For Twilight, Comic-Con was its launching pad four years ago. Twilight was an instant hit when it was first introduced.
"Everyone knows the phenomenon of 'Twilight' really exploded here (at Comic-Con), and we're all aware, too, this is the last time", said director Bill Condon.
There was an interaction session with the audience and the cast were questioned on the memorable moments of filming the movie over the last four years. The cast of Twilight seemed to be in a happy mood, teasing and sharing stories.
"This is sad right now, to be honest, we got to live here, we got to live in this world for such a crazy long period of time compared to the amount of time you usually do, but it feels good. Its like, 'Yes we did it. Yes, we finished'," said Stewart of the last Twilight series.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" will be released in theatres November 16.
