‘Titanfall 2’ Release Date, Trailer, News & Update: Game Challenged Players To Make Each Match Count? Title Draws Inspiration From ‘Street Fighter’?

“Titanfall 2” is one of the top new games revealed at E3 and developer Respawn Entertainment hopes that the latest offering will be something that gamers will cherish.

“Titanfall 2” will try to achieve better game play by maximizing the factors in-game. That includes the maximizing the space environment and offering a different paced style of fighting that calls to mind a classic one-on-one fighting game, “Street Fighter."

A key improvement that should gain the approval of players is the addition of more characters to choose from. There will be six new Titan classes on “Titanfall 2," a bit bump from the three available on the first game offering.

The three new robot characters on “Titanfall 2” will have less conventional abilities and will lean on main powers that include black hole grenades, protective energy shields and shoulder-mounted laser cannons as detailed by Game Spot.

The more that “Titanfall 2” gamers try them, the better. Such allows them to learn more on the abilities of each Titan class, eventually leading to a masterful control that will eventually account for better combat and counters on adversaries.

As mentioned in yesterday’s post, “Titanfall 2” calls to mind the “Call of Duty” style of play. Aside from the P2P combat, there are campaigns that should help educated gamers on how to fully maximize the Titan race of their choosing.

Meet 'Ion' and 'Scorch'

There are two curious characters that have been so far in focus – “Ion” and “Shock” as singled out by IGN.com.

“Ion” boasts of a “Splitter Rifle” which can release three shots at a time when played on “Titanfall 2”. But his most dangerous weapon comes in the form of a red mega-beam attack, something similar to “Cyclops” of “X-Men” fame. On the defensive end, “Ion” uses a “Vortex Shield."

The other character on “Titanfall 2” that should be worth checking is “Scorch." On the offensive, this character turns to fire-power attacks highlighted by a mortar-shell that explodes with incendiary flames.

Aside from that, “Scorch” is armed with a seemingly good defensive matrix courtesy of a “flame shield” which can shroud him with a firewall that will be crucial to attacking players.

After that brief run-through, the rest lies on the shoulders of the “Titanfall 2” players. Tactics will be different and hopefully such pans up for a better style of game play for the adventurers and Titan wannabes.
