It's been 25 years since the last "Bill and Ted" movie came out. Since then, whispers of a sequel, "Bill and Ted 3," taking shape in various development have been rumored for the last ten years or so.
Now its official, the two-time travelling doofuses from "Bill and Ted's: Excellent Adventure" and "Bill and Ted's: Bogus Journey" will be returning for "Bill and Ted 3"!

Who can deliver the "Bill and Ted 3" good news better than Bill and Ted themselves?
To promote his documentary about Frank Zappa, actor and filmmaker Alex Winter, who played Bill in "Bill and Ted's: Excellent Adventure" and "Bill and Ted's: Bogus Journey," confirmed the existence of "Bill and Ted 3."
Alex Winter shared that a start date for "Bill and Ted 3" could be relatively immanent.
When asked about "Bill and Ted 3" finally happening, Alex Winter told NME that, "Yeah, we've actually been working non-stop since then. We’re really in the throes of getting the final touches done on the script so we can go to green light."
But don't expect to see "Bill and Ted 3" on theaters anytime soon as Alex Winter revealed that they are still in the "early stages of pre-production."
Alex Winter says that they're hoping to begin production for "Bill and Ted 3" before the end of this year or possibly early next year.

'Bill and Ted 3': Keanu Reeves A.K.A Ted gives update on sequel
Speaking with IGN, Keanu Reeves shared that "Bill and Ted 3" is definitely happening but he is still unsure if when exactly will fans get to see and enjoy "Bill and Ted 3."
One thing is for sure though, Keanu Reeves confirmed that both he and Alex Winter are going to reprise their iconic roles as Bill and Ted in "Bill and Ted 3."
