'Penny Dreadful' Season 3 Finale: Is Vanessa Really Dead And The Mother Of Evil? Check Out For Clues Here!

The British-American horror drama, "Penny Dreadful," now comes to an end, but many are puzzled if it is still going to come back with a new season.

The End

After John Clare (Rory Kinnear) completed reciting a poem at the newly mined grave of Vanessa Ives (Eva Green), who died on the "Blessed Dark," "The End" flashed on the TV screens of the viewers, Variety reported.

These words left a big question in the mind of "Penny Dreadful" fans. Some asked if this will be the end of the show or only the last part for Vanessa.

However, "Penny Dreadful" will never be as it is without Vanessa. So, others think that they are only faking her death and will be brought to life after some time.

To recall, "Penny Dreadful" has been known to bring back the dead characters, but some assume that it was, indeed, Vanessa's final days.

Clues

According to Deadline, there might be a hint on the second part of the opening credits of "Penny Dreadful" finale episode.

It was changed from the usual "Penny Dreadful" graphics to a presentation of the series. Vanessa's line, "we make our own Heaven and our Hell" may also mean something.

Otherwise, Vanessa's words pertaining to Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett) "let him come, he and I shall write the ending in blood, as it was always going to be," too, was an indication of "Penny Dreadful" goodbye.

To recall, in Vanessa and Ethan's war of words, she told her to "let it end" to reject the forces of the darkness with a kiss.

Mother Of Evil

Also, everyone was surprised to know that Vanessa turned out to be the "Mother of Evil" in the season finale of "Penny Dreadful."

Vanessa might have the knowledge to speak Diablo in "Penny Dreadful," but so as Jane Clayton (Patti LuPone), Hidden Remote cited.

It was hard to believe that Vanessa became an allegiance of the dark side as she was always known to be a good one in "Penny Dreadful."
