The screenshots of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5 from Rockstar Games have been unveiled. They reveal lot of secrets about the game.
Cheeta?
The car's make is Cheetah, the "h" seems to be obscured by sunlight. The car has appeared in previous GTAs - GTA 3, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, GTA Liberty City Stories, and GTA Vice City Stories. This will mark the return of an iconic car. The license plate in the Cheetah is of San Andreas. The screenshot must be taken in Rodeo GTA equivalent of Beverly Hills.
Lead character in Fighter Jet?
If you look closely and have any image enhancing software, then run this through a brightness and contrast filter and a character is revealed. He must be the protagonist from the GTA 5 trailer. He seems to have abandoned his helmet and flight suit for suit and tie.
Pleasant Pier Rides
GTA San Andreas had couple of bike varieties, BMX and mountain bike, the screenshot revealed newer type, one with the low-slung handlebars, which verily looks like a road bike. The question is will we be able to do stunts? The rider is wearing cycling shorts meaning there might be option for character customisation? Though this may not be a playable character, we can hope he is. Santa Maria pier, which is a GTA equivalent of Santa Monica pier. The screenshot reveals a Ferris Wheel. We can hope that there is an option of being able to play in the wheel. To the left of pier is a probably a lifeguard station. Do you think there might be references to "Baywatch"?
The game was announced officially on October 25, 2011. The game has been popular and much waited upon. The trailer for the game debuted on November 2, 2011.
Rockstar's homepage, has a screenshot section which has three boxes that still blank, which could indicate more screenshots soon to come.
