However, recent reports are claiming that the much-anticipated reunion of the "High School Musical" lead stars is highly unlikely since Disney has confirmed that new characters will be featured in the show.

E! Online has reported that new characters will be leading the "High School Musical 4" movie. Among the characters each fans should watch out for in the upcoming movie is Erin, who is the sole lass on the all-boy soccer team.
According to reports, Erin will fall head over heels in love with Derek, another soccer player and a heartthrob dancer. Other new characters coming in "High School Musical 4" film include Campbell, who is considered Troy Bolton 2.0, Nathalie, the best friend of Erin, and Tamara, who is said to be a social climber.
Though nothing has been confirmed as of yet, sources have claimed that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will be appearing in some "High School Musical 4" scenes. Some insider even said that the two might be coaching the new bloods before they start filming for "High School Musical 4" movie.
