When LeBron James decided to return to Cleveland, Ohio after four years of being a Miami Heat player, he made a promise to the people in Ohio that he will bring home the championship trophy. With no concrete plans on how to do it, he also made some decisions that will eventually formulated a better blueprint that seemingly created a better team who now, brought them to the NBA finals; even taking home the championship trophy.
What's the secret? LeBron James never heeded his critics comments. According to Cleveland.com, despite James repeatedly saying, he just shuts his mind on his critics comments, it turns out, it was the total opposite. He made sure that he heard them, he heard them in such a way that it will build him to last. Not to destroy, but to reach the things he's supposed to have; to claim what's truly his and to venture on the idea that no matter what people say, he will go out in court, play his best and try to bring home the championship trophy.
In his Instagram post on Monday, he revealed what truly mattered and how he was able to turn things around. He wrote: "He got the coach fired, players traded, won't work between him and Kyrie (Irving), Him and Kev (Kevin Love) won't work, love your teammates to much, there's no way he can deliver a championship in his hometown, etc etc etc. But guess what THATS NONE OF MY BUSINESS."
Some strong quote to challenge the people who didn't believe in him and his capability to work with the team. After their 93-89 win against the defending champion Golden State Warriors, LeBron James absolutely shut down all the haters, the non believers and the people who try to bring him down to the level they want him to be.
