When Disney mentioned that there's a possibility of a "Frozen 2," fans of the first movie are both excited and worried at the same time.
Will 'Frozen 2' satisfy the expectations of the fans?
The excitement is quite understandable as "Frozen" is one of the blockbuster animated movies that Disney ever created.
But on the other hand, the popularity of "Frozen" may somehow be a curse for "Frozen 2" because there's a chance that "Frozen 2" will not reach the expectations of the fans.
And because of these high expectations, a lot of angles are being considered for the "Frozen 2" storyline.
'Frozen 2' Theory: Queen Elsa to introduce girlfriend in sequel?
It has long been rumored that Disney will take a different path for "Frozen 2."
Since "Frozen" focused more on Queen Elsa and Princess Anna's relationship as sisters, "Frozen 2" is said to set its focal point in Elsa's own relationship with herself and viewers will get to understand her sexuality.
In "Frozen 2," it is speculated that Queen Elsa will eventually realize that she's not like the other Queens who are set to marry a King and they'll live happily ever after.
If this "Frozen 2" theory is true, Queen Elsa will be the first Disney character to be out of the closet and being a Queen makes it even more interesting.
'Frozen 2' Theory: Queen Elsa dies
To kill off a main character is definitely not a thing of Disney, but as mentioned earlier that the company is trying to take a different spin for "Frozen 2," so this shocking theory may be possible.
Speaking with E! News, Idina Menzel, the voice behind Queen Elsa, seemingly joked about her character's demise.
"We are at story writing and they're working on it and I think I'm in it," Idina Menzel revealed. "That's all I know — unless maybe Elsa falls off an ice cliff and she dies in the first five minutes."
This may just be a joke for now, but since the story writing for "Frozen 2" is still in progress, let's just hope that the writers didn't see Idina Menzel's interview so they won't get any idea from it.
