It's the time of the month when Xbox Games with Gold are usually announced. In fact, this time around, the list of games that went gold were revealed at the same time Microsoft announced some of the new titles in the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature.

The list might not be as long as the backwards-compatible list, but it does give a very promising brand new titles ahead. According to the Christian Times, some few titles have been confirmed in the Xbox Games with Gold and they are "Final Fantasy 13," "Halo Wars" and "Dead Rising 3." If you can still remember, there's a previous list of Games with Gold announced earlier this month and they include "Goat Simulator," "Costume Quest 3" and "The Crew."

The appearance of "Halo Wars" has been largely related to the fact that, it has already been distributed in Germany and Japan for free. Take note that Xbox Games with Gold usually arrive to Xbox Live Members for free and ahead of their scheduled release date.

Meanwhile, the Christian Daily mentioned some of the Xbox Games with Gold that are also expected to arrive soon. Titles include "Watch Dogs" and the indie title "Zombi" were also mentioned, but have not been confirmed. Interestingly, Microsoft has been able to mix triple A games with some independent games, giving the fans more choices when it comes to their Xbox One backwards compatibility titles.

It is also safe to say that as long as fans keep voting for their favorite games on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list, Microsoft will continue to bring those top games on the feature. All you have to do is take advantage of the free games that come with the Xbox Games with Gold titles.
