Despite the speculation, "Limitless" fans were given hope following reports that "Limitless" was being shopped to other outlets to continue the TV show based on the feature film of the same name.

After "Limitless" was cancelled, it was reported that the show was being shopped around to various outlets for a possible "Limitless" Season 2.

The two major outlets that were being considered to pick up "Limitless" Season 2 were Netflix and Amazon.

Unfortunately, even with a good cast and an already established title, "Limitless" was not picked up by Netflix and Amazon for "Limitless" season 2.

'Limitless' Season 2 not happening?

After months of speculations regarding the fate of "Limitless" Season 2, it is now officially confirmed that "Limitless" has reached the end of the line.

"Limitless" showrunner Craig Sweeny took to Twitter to deliver the sad news to all who were hoping for a "Limitless" Season 2.

"I'm truly sad to report that #Limitless will not continue on any platform. Thanks so much to everyone who watched," the "Limitless" showrunner wrote.

'Limitless' should have limit it to the big screen?

The "Limitless" movie stars Bradley Cooper, Abbie Cornish, and Robert De Niro. With these Hollywood A-listers, it was no surprise that "Limitless" was a huge hit back then.

This gave "Limitless" actor Bradley Cooper the idea to bring the movie to Tv, unfortunately, it didn't go well as planned.

"Limitless" had a lot of capabilities to be a successful show, but it seems that the "Limitless" TV version just didn't live up to the 2011 film.
