"Samurai Jack" Season 5 Gets Ready For Adult Swim, Grown-Up Fans Immediately Rejoice
Last December, Genndy Tartakovsky confirmed that "Samurai Jack" Season 5 will air on Adult Swim. The announcement immediately led to speculations that the show will take on a darker tone now that it will be released to mature audience.
As if to confirm the theories, Genndy Tartakovsky shared new concept art from "Samurai Jack" Season 5. The first image revealed a bloody Jack with wild eyes and a fierce expression on his face.

In case anyone missed that, yes, that is BLOOD. This is something that has notably been absent from the previous "Samurai Jack" seasons. So expect blood and more violence (yay!) in Season 5.

Wait, what? How can Aku return in "Samurai Jack" Season 5? In the special behind-the-scenes featurette, Genndy Tartakovsky reveals the demon could make a comeback in the new season. However, he will not be "rebooted."
So how will Aku's return work in "Samurai Jack" Season 5? It is possible that the demon will appear in flashback scenes.
Who Will Provide The Voice Of Aku In "Samurai Jack" Season 5?
Here's the tricky part: the man who provided the voice of Aku died 10 years ago. Unfortunately, fans will not get to hear Mako bring Aku back to life.
However, Genndy Tartakovsky stated that a new voice actor will be brought in for Aku.
