Toronto Flim Festival: Jude Law 'Pestered' Director Wes Anderson to be a Part of 'Wes Anderson family'

Jude Law has worked with many celebrated directors, from Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and David Cronenberg. Now, Law will work with acclaimed director, Wes Anderson, in his new movie, "The Grand Budapest Hotel."

Law told MTV that he pleaded with Anderson for a role in his films.

"I've been a huge fan of Wes," he said. "I pestered him with emails for years, saying 'I want to live in one of your films and I'd like to be in one of your films.'"

Law said he's excited to be a part of the Wes Anderson family. He also revealed that the movie will star Johnny Depp.

"It will be the usual team [of actors]. I have heard Johnny Depp is indeed playing a key role in it," Law said. "I think my role is fleeting, but I'm very excited to be a part of that Wes Anderson family."

Law said they might start work in January. Law was in Toronto promoting his new film "Anna Karenina," directed by Joe Wright. Law has worked with Depp in "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus."

Anderson will have a different mix of actors from Ed Norton and Bruce Willis, to Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand. He will reunite with actor Owen Wilson. The movie is also rumored to star Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum and Adrien Brody.

This movie follows his widely-loved "Moonrise Kingdom." He was nominated at the 2001 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for "The Royal Tenenbaums" and at the 2009 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature for "Fantastic Mr. Fox."
