Fans have been waiting for "South Park" season 20 since December and expectations for the Comedy Central's adult animated series has since been on high. The Trey Parker and Matt Stone hit animated series will resume air time in September and this is what we know so far.
'South Park' Season 20 To Continue The Momentum
According to IDigitalTimes, "South Park" season 20 will continue what season 19 started. For the first time, the website noted that "South Park" season 19 constantly introduced continuity throughout the whole season.
"South Park" season 20 is expected to feature the same political correctness, advertising and the evolution of digital media with a little of populist politics on the side.
More so, "South Park" season 20 may continue the story arc of Mr. Garrison and Principal Victoria running for the presidency in the United States.
Following through with this story arc is the easiest for Parker and Stone to tackle "South Park" season 20. Just like what they did since 2008, creators Parker and Stone are expected to make comments on the real situation of the U.S. election.
All these are speculations until Comedy Central releases a formal statement confirming these. The website admits that the new story arcs may or may not continue for the entire "South Park" season 20.

'South Park' Season 20 Will Be A Short Season
The website also confirmed that "South Park" season 20 will be another short season. The old tradition that "South Park" is aired during fall and spring has ended.
Screen Crush reported that "South Park' will kick off its 20th season by invading San Diego Comic-Con. On July 22, Chris Hardwick will host a "South Park 20" panel in Hall H to discuss the evolution of the series for the last two decades.
More so, the fans will be treated to interactive exhibits, video games and more at the Comic-Con. "South Park" will have its highlight on "South Park 20 Experience," letting fans act out 20 iconic and fan-favourite scenes.
"South Park" season 20 will premiere on Sept. 14.
