WWE Rumors 2016: Brock Lesnar Can Become UFC Champion Soon, Goodbye Vince McMahon? [POLL, VIDEO]

Brock Lesnar continues to make headlines following his near-perfect win over Mark Hunt at UFC 200. Despite being away from the Octagon for more than 5 years now due to diverticulitis, “The Beast” showed he can still pound it even at 38.

Brock Lesnar is still technically hooked up with the WWE and is in fact slated for a match at WWE SumerSlam 2016. He will be going up against Randy Orton this August, a match that many are questioning.

Orton is an established WWE star but the problem is that the “Viper” has not been seen since Oct., 2016. The card was made prior to UFC 200 so the WWE may have jumped the gun. Some believe that changes could still be made but the final say will be on Vince McMahon.

Miocic vs. Lesnar happening?

Proving that he can still battle in the cage, many believe that UFC 200 is not the last we have seen of Lesnar. In fact, Bleacher Report Pro Wrestling analyst Matt Camp believes that Lesnar will return and set his sights on the heavyweight title.

Camp believes that Lesnar will try to fight for the title within the year. The current UFC heavyweight champion is Stipe Miocic who won the title over Fabricio Werdum back in May, ESPN reported.

Miocic is aware that there is a chance he could end up facing Lesnar. While the match could be something, it all depends if Croatian-American can come out with a first title-defense. Miocic is set to defend his title against Alistair Overeem at UFC 203 this September in Cleveland.

Lesnar eventually leaving WWE?

Depending on his choice, there is a big chance that Lesnar could end up leaving the WWE. With the company keeping the WWE title away from its biggest attraction, Lesnar may end up trying to become champion in the UFC.

The WWE SummerSlam 2016 card is proof that the company has been saving Lesnar from getting a crack at the WWE title unless the creative team has a change of heart and retool the pay-per-view cards.
