'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date, News & Update: E3 2016 Absence Finally Explained!
"Kingdom Hearts 3" fans patiently waited for E3 2016 to know and learn more about the much-awaited game but they were disappointed when "Kingdom Hearts 3" was never mentioned in E3 2016. Square Enix finally revealed the reason behind the absence of "Kingdom Hearts 3" at E3 2016.
Venture Beat reports that the reason why there is no update regarding "Kingdom Hearts 3" is because Square Enix is focusing on "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" since it's going to premiere soon.
“We want to share as much as possible," "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" co-director Tai Yasue said. "We’re excited about Kingdom Hearts 3. But 2.8 we’re releasing globally at the beginning of December. We wanted to concentrate on that first. We want what’s best for the moment. We’re currently making 3 and 2.8 at the same time, but we wanted to concentrate on 2.8 right now.”
Even with the upcoming release of "Kingdom Hearts 2.8," the anticipation for "Kingdom Hearts 3" didn't stop.
In fact, fans were expecting that Square Enix will give them even just a tiny bit of information about "Kingdom Hearts 3" at E3 2016 but the developer remained tight-lip about it.
Now, it is realized that Square Enix wants the fans to enjoy "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" before conquering "Kingdom Hearts 3."
The recent ranking for "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the latest Famitsu Chart is shockingly unimpressive. Could the delay and lack of information be the reason why "Kingdom Hearts 3" is losing its popularity?
Although the reason for "Kingdom Hearts 3" losing the hype is still unknown, it is not hard to piece the puzzle that there's a big possibility that fans may have gotten tired of waiting.
And now they are told to play "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" first before tackling "Kingdom Hearts 3" and a lot may not appreciate that.
Plus, there is no official update about the "Kingdom Hearts 3" which probably resulted to fans losing their excitement and interest.
