Gamescom 2016: Bandai Namco Teases To Introduce New IP! Players To Experience 'Tekken 7,' 'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' First Hand!

Bandai Namco teased the game aficionados about their plans at the upcoming Gamescom 2016. The known arcade game company already revealed that it is about to show its much-awaited games and a new IP.

Bandai Namco unveiled that it is about to introduce a new IP for its western addressees at Gamescom 2016, according to Game Spot.

However, Bandai Namco has been tight-lipped about the details of the said IP, but its VP of IP Strategy and Marketing & PR in Europe, Herve Hoerdt, teased the fans even more by saying that they are very excited about it.

Aside from that, Bandai Namco confirmed that the game enthusiasts will experience "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" and the 2017 "Tekken 7" first-hand as the two games will be on a free-play at Gamescom 2016.

Herve Hoerdt even added that the new IP, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," which Herve Hoerdt boasted to be one of the most anticipated and biggest game from Bandai Namco, and "Tekken 7" 2017 will be all "very interesting."

Other Activities

Moreover, Bandai Namco is also eyeing to create competitions, tournaments, autograph signing, lotteries at Gamescom 2016. The company, too, wants their attendees to enjoy the event by allowing them to watch the interviews and presentations.

"This year, again the world's largest gaming fair will be home to hundreds of thousands gaming fans who gather in Cologne. We are bringing 3 very interesting projects this year," Herve Hoerdt said in a statement, as per PlayStation LifeStyle.

"We are particularly pleased to be able to fulfill the desires of fighting game fans as they get the chance to experience the most impressive Tekken-game to date ... We're also showing off 'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' ... Lastly, we will reveal a brand new project," he added.

The Gamescom 2016 will start on Aug. 18 and will last until Aug. 21. But, Microsoft, Sony and Electronic Arts won't hold press conferences.
