Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney have called off their engagement. After almost five years of being together, the "Poker Face" singer and the "Chicago Fire" actor called it quits, with distance being the main factor.

A source tells US Weekly that Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney broke up mainly because of their long distance relationship. It seems that their career has demanded too much of their time, Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney was always away from each other.
Lady Gaga reportedly owns a home in Malibu, California while Taylor Kinney stays in Chicago where NBC hit series "Chicago Fire" is being filmed. Their time spent away has made their feelings grew apart.
"It's really sad and [Lady Gaga's] really torn up. They thought they'd be together forever. [The] Distance was a big part of it," an insider tells US Weekly. "They weren't together a lot."
Admittedly, Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney were good together and they wanted to make it work. The source added that Lady Gaga would always visit Taylor Kinney in his Chicago home when she has to be in Los Angeles or on tour. The distance may have taken a toll on their relationship.

Meanwhile, PEOPLE reported that Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney are taking a break as stated by the former's rep. From this statement, many fans are speculating that this could only be a temporary break up and they may end getting back together.
Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney met on the set of Gaga's "You and I" music video in July 2011. The couple dated for about four years since then. On Valentine's Day 2015, the 35-yeear-old actor proposed to the 30-year-old singer at her Manhattan restaurant, Joanne's Trattoria.
Lady Gaga was spotted several times this month not wearing her heart-shaped Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring.
