"Once Upon a Time" has awakened the senses of its viewers in the reality of battling someone's inner demons.
It seems like in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6, Regina (Lana Parrilla) will battle her inner demon and that's the Evil Queen inside her. While the show ended its 5th season showing Regina separating from her dark side, it was also during the season finale that it was witnessed the return of the Evil Queen also played by Parrilla.
And now that she's back, the Evil Queen vows to fight Regina, specially now that she discovers the raging storm inside her. "Once Upon a Time" season 6 reveals how the Evil Queen wants to destroy Regina and vows to declare war between them.
In an interview with producer Edward Kitsis on Entertainment Weekly, he mentioned how questions tend to be asked when someone else separates her dark side from her real self; more importantly, is there such thing as separating the evil side from the human body? In the case of Regina, it was the dying effort to remove unleash her evil side and when she went through heaven and hell just to get rid of the Evil Queen, the latter did not appreciate it.
Executive producer Adam Horowitz on the other hand reveals, "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will see to tear Regina apart. In his interview, he said "We're literally going inside her and pulling her apart. There are elements of that that we're planning to do for each and every one of the characters."
Meanwhile, the story of Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will have the same fate as Regina's after spoilers reveal that she was seen fighting her own evil side.
