San Diego Comic-Con is taking place from July 21 to 24, 2016, and to celebrate this momentous gathering of superhero fans, gamers, and general geeks, The PlayStation Store is providing gamers with the PlayStation Superhero Sale.
At the PlayStation Superhero Sale, superhero fans will be treated to a huge array of gigantic discounts of up to 70% off, with PlayStation Plus subscribers getting as much as 80%.
Discounted products covered by the PlayStation Superhero Sale include video games on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation Portable platforms, as well as movies and complete seasons of TV series, all of which revolve around some of the most popular superpowered characters.
Among the highlights of the PlayStation Superhero Sale are some of the best titles on the PlayStation 4, such as the well-received "Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition", which normally sells for $49.99 but is going for $29.99 on sale, at $24.99 for Plus subscribers. Meanwhile, iconic PS4 superhero game "inFAMOUS Second Son" and its standalone DLC "inFAMOUS First Light," which respectively retail for $19.99 and $14.99, are down to $12.99 and $10.99, or $11.99 and $8.99 for Plus. DC fighting game "Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition" is also on sale at $7.99 for regular gamers and $5.99 for Plus, a big discount off its normal retail price of $19.99.
The PlayStation Superhero Sale isn't leaving PlayStation 3 gamers out of the fun, as they get "inFAMOUS Collection" for $10.49, with Plus users nabbing it at $8.99, down from $14.99. There's also "Batman: Arkham Origins," which is hugely discounted from its original price of $19.99, and is going on sale at $7.99 or $5.99 for Plus users.
Movies are a big part of the PlayStation Superhero Sale too, with "Deadpool" down to $9.99 from $14.99, high-definition copies of the "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises" both discounted to $8.99 from $12.99, and "X-Men: Days of Future Past (Rogue Cut)" at $9.99, down from $17.99.
The PlayStation Superhero Sale also includes seasons of various TV shows, including "Family Guy," "Dexter," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," and "Heroes." No additional discounts are offered on video content for Plus subscribers.
