Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed Split: Controlling Her Husband & Nina Dobrev's Reunion In 'TVD' Season 8? Elena Absent In The Final Season?

The rumors about Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's divorce are getting stronger as there are swirling reports that Nina Dobrev is about to return to "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. In fact, the "Sleepy Hollow" star even courted her husband to the drama series' cast reunion.

There are reports claiming that Nikki Reed is now being alarmed that Ian Somerhalder will be united with Nina Dobrev in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. As "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will be the final tale of the supernatural drama, it looks like The CW will bring Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrave back on screen.

However, Celeb Dirty Laundry hinted that the reunion between Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 might no longer happen. In a recent post of "The Vampire Diaries" creator Julie Plec, she shared a photo of the cast's get-together, but Nina Dobrev was nowhere to be seen.

This leads to speculations that Nikki Reed avoids Ian Somerhalder to meet Nina Dobrev once again and the latter won't join "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.

On the contrary, Inquisitr reported that Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are actually living a happy life and the divorce rumors are all lie. As a matter of fact, Nikki Reed is not alarmed at all that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev will be back together again on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.

"Nikki and Ian are so in love. There's nothing he could possibly do to upset her," a source told Hollywood Life, as per Inquisitr. "The idea of Ian and Nina reuniting on screen for 'The Vampire Diaries' doesn't bother her one bit. She has no issues with this whatsoever."

Meanwhile, the hearsays that Nina Dobrev is going to be back in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 to reprise her role as Elena excites the fans even more. However, Julie Plec explained that when Nina Dobrev cast her goodbye to "The Vampire Diaries," she strongly clarified that she will concentrate doing her other endeavors.

But, Julie Plec promised that she and The CW will try their best to get Nina Dobrev back in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 even for one just one episode. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will be back on Oct. 21 on The CW.
