‘Need for Speed’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: Full Version is Now Playable on EA’s Origin Access Vault [VIDEO]
"Need for Speed" was recently included to EA Access' Vault. The addition means that gamers can now subscribe to EA Access service and play the full version of the racing game which is only playable on Xbox One at the moment.
"Need for Speed" is the most successful racing video game of its kind. So far, the game sold over 150 million copies worldwide. Meanwhile, it is highly likely that the game was added to the Vault in an attempt to further boost its profile prior to the release of the follow-up game which is already being developed by Coldwood Interactive.
Incidentally, even if the initial response to the launch of "Need for Speed was not that great, the game gradually gained support as game lovers get to know it more. With that said, then there is really a reason why EA Access subscribers should give it a second look and try the game. It must also be noted that this will be the last installment for 2016 so there is more reason for gamers to grab their chance of playing this version of car racing.
Game enthusiasts must look forward to more titles coming to the Xbox One Access subscription service as well. After EA drops the "Need for Speed" and "Unravel to the Vault on July 12, five more games are expected to join the list.
As posted on EA website, first trials of other favorite games are coming up. Here are the game titles and their corresponding release date:
1."Madden 17 Play" - August 18
2."Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" - August 30
3."NHL 17" - September 8
4."FIFA 17" - September 22
5."Battlefield 1" (via Origin Access) - October 13
Finally, gamers who would like to play the games in the Vault must avail the EA Access subscription first. The monthly fee for the unlimited gameplay and access to trial games is only $4.99.
