'Persona 5' Latest News, Release Date & Update: Opening Sequence, Gameplay Revealed Plus, Meet The 7 Cooperation Characters!

The game developer Atlus revealed a number of videos for "Person 5" to give a glimpse of the title's characters, gameplay and more. Out of these multiple clips, the 18-minute teaser showed the role-playing video game's opening sequence and story.

Opening Sequence

The longest clip of "Persona 5" teased the first mission of the game and the introduction of the title's protagonist. The Phantom Thief is seen trying to take someone's heart at a lavish event, but he is quickly stopped along the way, then the clip is moved to reveal the title's fast and graceful battle system, as per Gematsu.

As part of the "Persona 5" long teaser, it unveiled some story spoiler while other parts of it showed the journey the players are bound to experience. Evidently, some place in the game needs to be discovered with caution and slyness in mind, while others can be freely accessed.

Seven Cooperation Characters

The multiple teasers also uncovered the "Persona 5" seven Cooperation Characters. As recently reported, these individuals are only one of the few people that the protagonist and friends are going to meet that possess special abilities and skills.

Hifumi Togo is dubbed as the most beautiful shogi player in "Persona 5" while Toranosuke Yoshida is the man known for giving orations outside the Shibuya Station. Sadayo Kawakami is the silent teacher that gives importance to protection, whilst Chihaya Mifune is identified as the "real fortune-teller." Additionally, Yuki Mishima is the classmate of the protagonist, Shinya Oda is acknowledged as the boy genius player and the gossip reporter Ichiko Oya.

Preview Of Cooperation Characters

Meanwhile, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, too, gave a preview of "Person 5" characters with a lot of screenshots, Dual Shockers cited. The snaps focus mostly on the seven Cooperation Characters that have been introduced from Atlus' videos. Evidently, the game's status and gain abilities have improved tremendously with an additional sight of its menu.
