Recent "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 new are claiming that Ian Somerhalder got really furious after learning that Nina Dobrev is not coming back anymore. Previous reports have claimed that "The Final Girls" actress is returning to the popular The CW show to redeem its plummeting ratings.

Sources have claimed that Nina Dobrev had a change of heart after learning that Ian Somerhalder's marriage with wife Nikki Reed is currently on the rocks. The "XXX: Return of Xander Cage" star reportedly do not want to be linked with the controversy anymore that she chose to stay away from the couple by cancelling her impending return in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.

It has been previously reported that Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have been fighting constantly after reports spread that Nina Dobrev will be coming back in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Most fans know that the "Let's Be Cops" actress is a former ladylove of "The Anomaly" star.

Though these reports could definitely be true, neither Ian Somerhalder nor Nina Dobrev has confirmed anything. So, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 fans should take everything with a grain of salt until it is proven to be true.

Meanwhile, GamenGuide has previously reported that Nikki Reed is the newest addition in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Sources have claimed that she will be portaying as Sybil, who will copy Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) to allure Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder).

The recent sighting of Nikki Reed during the party thrown by executive producer Julie Plec last week for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 cast and crew is said to be a confirmation of her involvement to the show. Up until now, Nina Dobrev's ex Ian Somerhalder and the "Twilight" actress are yet to comment on these reports.
