'Hawaii Five-0' Season 7 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Casts To Make A Reflection, TV Series To Be Canceled?

"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 is about to be released in more than a month and people behind the hit CBS drama series already revealed its mysterious theme. The upcoming new chapter of police procedural series will be dealing with their "legacy" that fans will see the cast on a reflection of themselves and their jobs.

'Hawaii Five-0' Cast Will Be On A Soul-Searching In Season 7

"Hawaii Five-0" showrunner Peter Lenkov told Entertainment Weekly that Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and the rest of the cast will be doing soul-searching in "Season 7." To recall, the leader of the crime task force had a near-death experience in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 6 finale that cost his teammate's, Gabriel (Christopher Sean), life.

Kono (Grace Park), on the other hand, also suffered a dreadful situation that ignited to rumors that he will be gone in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7. "Kono's gone through some amazing trauma and her husband was taken away from her. A lot of it stems from her job," Peter Lenkov said.

'Hawaii Five-0' Canceled?

Meanwhile, Cinema Blend reported that "Hawaii Five-0" casts were shocked when they heard that the drama series would be canceled after they just confirmed the coming of Season 7. Jimmy Buffet, who is also known as Frank Bama, hinted the call off of "Hawaii Five-0" in his interview, but Peter Lankov cleared that his statement is not true and the series will go on for "many more years."

"Hawaii Five-0" has been around for six years and handles to maintain its good ratings for that long. In fact, CBS hasn't mentioned anything about the cancellation of the show and, actually, boasted of its standard viewership that has more than 11 million through the years.

However, before Peter Lankov managed to shut down Jimmy Buffet remarks, it already caused turmoil on Twitter. He also asserted that "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7's ending will have an opening for a new Season 8. "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7 will be aired on Sept. 23 on CBS.
