Overwatch News & Update: There is NO SOMBRA Until Players Can Crack the Code

Is SOMBRA the Next Hero in the 'Overwatch' Game?

Blizzard Entertainment is known to create games with shady codes on the side. It's of the things that players love about Blizzard; the challenge to break codes and expose new features even before they are scheduled to be released. Recently, "Overwatch" joined that crazed after players spotted some hints that might lead them to SOMBRA.

Prior to the release of the Hearthstone expansion, Blizzard teased fans with the codes that might lead players to discover more about the SOMBRA character. But, it seems like the developer had something more in mind than to just easily give away the teaser.

According to the Nerdist, one of the reasons why gamers are hard on exploring Sombra is its apparent inclusion on several encrypted messages by the developer in certain maps and trailers. It's challenging and it's absolutely curiosity that's leading fans to discover SOMBRA in "Overwatch."

Prior to the Overwatch beta, the name of SOMBRA has appeared in so many maps that now, gamers are taking the initiative to break the codes and see whether SOMBRA really exists. Meanwhile, according to Kotaku, Blizzard recently came to its defense after issues about their limited Summer game specials came under fire.

The fact that players can't seem to collect everything at once made the outcry heard and Blizzard, on their defense said they made it limited in order to make things rare and special. They also cited how the recent Overwatch updated brought players the new Ana and all its special package including skins, sprays, highlight intros and emotes.

Overwatch director James Kaplan also stressed out that players don't need to spend money on these collectibles. By merely playing the game, they continuously earn these limited collectibles.
