"Supernatural" Season 12 will show its original theme as it is going back to its main roots and will solely focus on the story of Winchester family. There will be major changes in the characters of the American television series and some are bound to return.

Mary, Dean & Sam's Business In 'Supernatural' Season 12

Mary (Samantha Smith), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) now have to deal with the comeback of their mother in "Supernatural" Season 12. However, they will all be seen reminiscing of the past as it is quite a long time ago since they saw each other. Aside from that, Variety reported that Lucifer made his way out and freely roaming the earth and the Men of Letters is said to be involved.

"Supernatural" executive producer Bob Singer said that the British Men of Letters has an involvement on the things Sam and Dean are busy doing. Also, there will be a wide hunt to find Lucifer's whereabouts. Hence, since Lucifer in on the loose, he is set to take another vessel that happens to be Rick Springfield. it looks like Mary, Dean and Sam have a lot of business to deal with in "Supernatural" Season 12.

Castiel Will Be Back On His Feet & Take Vengeance

Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) has been seen in the previous seasons of "Supernatural" as the indigent man who often experienced misfortune. Finally, these will all change in "Supernatural" Season 12. The 41-year-old actor detailed at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 that his angelic role will redeem himself and be back in action.

In fact, he will be the Castiel fans saw in "Supernatural" Season 4. He is now back in the game and will make everyone who made fun of him pay. In "Supernatural" Season 12, Castiel will, once again, stand on his ground as the soldier and the leader that he is. "Supernatural" Season 12 is set to be back on Oct. 12 on CW Network.
