“No Man’s Sky” is nearing its release though some may have already checked out the game through leaked copies.

In a previous post, much of this was brought out in the open by a Reddit user named Daymeeuhn. The gamer spent $1,302.95 to get a leaked copy of the game and so far his marks have been a mix of bad and good. That included him claiming to have reached the center of the universe in just 30 hours of use and revealing of some bugs tied up to the leaked copy.

Sean Murray continues to hold off spoilers

When those leaked copies came out, Sean Murray came out in the open to inform gamers to wait for the official release and not spoil the fun. The call failed to thwart hardcore gamers who have been eager to see what “No Man’s Sky” game brings to the table.

With a couple of days left before the game’s official launch, Murray has once again come out in the open to warn people, claiming that the official copy of “No Man’s Sky” will carry something different once launched via VG247While that may seem rhetorical, it is the belief that the game will be coming with a day one patch for “No Man’s Sky” may debut alongside it on Aug. 9.

Hello Games Up To Something?

If that should be the case, Hello Games may be holding off something and may unsurprisingly try something like limiting the patches to official game copies released.

That route is feasible with the patch likely to be compatible only with officially released copies from stores. It may be theoretical but possible to thwart the spoilers created by the online leaks of “No Man’s Sky”.

Whatever surprises Hello Games has up its sleeves remain to be seen. “No Man’s Sky” for the PS4 is due this Tuesday (Aug. 9) with the PC version following three days after (Aug. 12).
