'Pokemon Go' Latest News, Release Date & Update: New Upgrade Fixes Nearby Pokemon Problem? More New Game Features Revealed

Several fans have celebrated when Niantic released the new upgrade of "Pokemon Go" today. The update, according to reports, fixes bugs, changes player's avatars, and the nearby pokemon problem. The "Pokemon Go" update is version 0.33.0 for Android and 1.3.0 for iOS, which players can download  in Google Play and App Store.

In addition to the bug fix, Niantic had some nifty changes for the new "Pokemon GO" upgrade such as the iOS battery saver mode, curved pokeball throws and a virus that prevented some sure ways to gain experience bonuses. Meanwhile, the company fixes the nearby pokemon problem. As of late, it is in the beta testing phase with a number of chosen "Pokemon Go" players.

With the new upgrade, "Pokemon Go" players can change now the name of their display image, but they can only do it once. Moreover, the company had few add ons thru the new "Pokemon Go" upgrade, which include reminders for players to not travel on a certain speed and a confirmation message to make sure that players are not driving before they could proceed to the game.

A new guiding system that is dubbed as sightings reportedly works well within the "Pokemon Go" game. One unnamed "Pokemon Go" player reports that the new system Niantic installed in the latest version. The report stated "sightings" replaces the nearby pokemon system and works by pulsing the area that a player is currently standing/walking until a pokemon appears and disappears.

When a pokemon can be seen in the "sightings," the "Pokemon Go" player can move in any direction until it vanishes. When it does, the players should go back to the direction where the pokemon can be seen in the new guiding system and continue to do that method until the pokemon appears in the screen again and proceed to catching it.

"Pokemon Go" is downloadable in Play Store and Google Play. For more "Pokemon Go" news and updates, stay tuned to GamenGuide!
