Thousands of fans are now excited for the upcoming airing of "Rick and Morty" Season 3. Now, new reports claim that Vin Diesel is going to join the Adult Swim series as Mr. Meeseeks.
Vin Diesel to voice Mr. Meeseeks in 'Rick and Morty' Season 3
Christian Times reports that Vin Diesel could possible voice returning character Mr. Meeseeks in "Rick and Morty" Season 3. During the San Diego Comic-Con 2016, creator Dan Harmon has admitted that he would want to add the "Fast & Furious 8" actor to the popular animated show.
Dan Harmon reportedly said that he would like to meet Vin Diesel in person so they could talk about his possible involvement to "Rick and Morty" Season 3. "I kind of want to meet Vin Diesel, and I kind of want to have a conversation with him," he shared. "He's a big D&D fan, and I think he'd be great for the show."
With this, fans cannot help but speculate that Vin Diesel could be voicing Mr. Meeseeks. Both Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon have reportedly confirmed the return of the blue alien. However, it remains to be seen what Mr. Meeseeks will be doing on his upcoming return.
Other reports, on the other hand, say that Vin Diesel will be voicing Evil Morty and not Mr. Meeseeks. Aside from Mr. Meeseeks, another character that fans should watch out for in "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is Evil Morty, who is expected to bring chaos in the show.
Though these reports could be true, Vin Diesel has not yet confirmed his involvement to the upcoming "Rick and Morty" Season 3. So, fans should wait until everything is already finalized.
'Rick and Morty' Season 3 to follow Inter-dimensional Cable plot
Meanwhile, GamenGuide has previously reported that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 could possibly follow the inter-dimensional cable plot. In other words, the upcoming installment would require audience participation.
Adult Swim has previously admitted that it is currently working on the "Rick and Morty" Season 3. Hence, it could be impossible that the upcoming installment will be out within this year.
