‘Pokemon GO’ Tips & Tricks: Secret Changes From The Recent App Update That Was Not Disclosed By Niantic [VIDEO]

Yesterday, Niantic released a new "Pokemon GO" update for both iOS and Android. Aside from the comeback of the in game battery saving option and new Sighting feature, there is more to the recent "Pokemon GO" update than what meets the eye.

"Pokemon GO's" Grimer Glitch

Grimer is a sludge type Pokemon and you can either catch it in the wild or by hatching them through PokeEggs. However there is a not so popular "Pokemon GO" glitch regarding Grimer.

Many reports are claiming that "Pokemon GO" trainers experience a game freeze whenever they view Grimer in their Pokedex or thru hatching Grimer in "Pokemon GO." Apparently, this glitch has already been solved by the latest update for "Pokemon GO" as reported on the Silph Road subreddit.

Nearby Tracking System

The most recent update of "Pokemon GO" brings us the redesigned Nearby Tracker which is now known as Sightings. Now do not get over excited as this update doesn't really bring much to the table.

It seems that this redesign of tall grasses is used to differentiate the appearance of what "Pokemon GO's" creators Niantic labs is beta testing right now in San Francisco, California. As it shows photos of nearby PokeStops of where the Pokemon could be spawned.

Another new feature of the "Pokemon GO" tracker is that, it doesn't show duplicate Pokemons anymore. Thus if you've found a Pokemon nearby, it be a sole Pokemon or tons of it.

And lastly, the past tracker has feet as its signal if you are near the Pokemon or far from it. Consider the new tracker as always one foot which means near as stated in the reddit post.
