'Pokemon GO' Latest News & Update: New Tracking Apps Spotted; Gamers Reveal it Actually Works

A Tracking App is Now Available on the 'Pokemon GO' Game

Niantics is not all about giving "Pokemon GO" gamers the challenge of finding their own rare Pokemons. In fact, the latest "Pokemon GO" update from the game developer allows players to track down Pokemons without literally searching for them.

According to CNET, the latest "Pokemon GO" update reveals two tracking systems mainly the Sightings Tracker and the Nearby Tracker. Although we warn you that you may be able to see either or none of the two tracking systems, they are currently on Beta form so it may progress in time.

For the "Sightings Tracker," "Pokemon GO" players are notified with available Pokemons in the area. The update also shows some grass icons to reveal a nearby Pokemon. The catch in the Sightings Tracker is that, players are not informed of what type of Pokemons are available, or how far are they from the characters.

The "Nearby Tracker" on the "Pokemon GO" game is the more accurate one between the two. By merely tapping on the Pokemon you want to catch, the "Pokemon GO" update will tell you exactly the landmarks where you can catch them. It also shows the Pokemons available in your vicinity.

What's interesting about the Nearby Tracker is its ability to inform the player on how long the Pokemon will stay in the designated area. In the event that the character leaves, a push notification will be sent, informing the player that the character is leaving. Also, it will notify players whether they want to search for another or not.

If you have not seen any of the two trackers or just one of the two trackers on "Pokemon GO," then this because Niantics is still in the process of developing the apps before they release it worldwide. Want to know more about "Pokemon GO" cheats and apps? Read on GamenGuide.com
