But who is Credence Barebone? Ezra Miller couldn't talk about his "Fantastic Beasts" character, since he was sworn to secrecy. "Everything's like CIA-Level," Miller told EW. "If I tell you sh-t about my character, I swear there's a sniper up on the roof that will take me out."
However, it looks like Ezra Miller's Credence Barebone has an interesting backstory in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". Credence is the adopted son of Mary Lou Barebone (Samantha Morton), who is the leader of an extremist group that plans to kill witches and wizards.
