'The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition' Latest News & Update: Makes Official Debut This Month! Latest Edition Offers Three Chapters

After the release of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" last May, a new edition is set to be released. The Wild Hunt features a 200 hours of gameplay and has won over 250 awards as the game of the year since its launch.

"The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition" has so much to offer for their loyal gamers. The latest edition of the game is also termed as the Complete Edition for it contains almost all of the things needed in a game.

Announced Release Date

According to Polygon, the game developer CD Projekt Red had already announced the release date of "The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition."

Luckily for the "The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition" avid fans who missed out the special announcement, the "The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition" will be available this month. Fans can now wait for the last week of August as the game will be released on August 30 in PS4 and Xbox One.

Game Of The Year Edition Offers Three Chapters

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the game director explained that the latest edition of "The Witcher 3" includes all the three chapters of the final adventures of the lead character Geralt of Rivia.

A reported by Express UK, gamers is said to trace down the child of prophecy into the devastated world from the original Wild Hunt. In Hearts of Stone Chapter, gamers will then be facing a bandit leader who seems to be immortal and lastly in Blood & Wine Chapter, gamers will have to discover the dark secrets behind the very beautiful land of Toussaint.

Tomaszkiewicz added that it would be a 150-hour gameplay in a world full of actions, choices and consequences and most especially exploration shape up everything including the characters in it.

What Can You Get On The Latest Edition?

Aside from the Blood and Wine and Heart of Stone DLC expansions, "The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition" contains all the free DLC updates for "The Witcher 3." The latest edition also includes new outfits, armors and other new weapons. New game mode and quests are also said to be included and more Gwent cards.

Although contents of the game can be accessed from the beginning, CD Projekt RED clearly said that certain items are only for the later regions.
