However, fans can expect new but familiar characters in the "New Girl" Season 6 due to the fact that the TV network plans to have a crossover - just like what the network recently did to two supernatural-themed drama shows, "Sleepy Hollow" and "Bones."
The "New Girl" Season 6 is set to have a crossover with the equally witty Fox TV series, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." The two popular and well-loved comedy series will probably have no problem in merging their respective storylines and characters. Hopefully, the chemistry between the characters in the "New Girl" season 6 and fellow hit TV comedy show "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" will prove to be a perfect mix of each character's personality and take the crossover to a higher level of comedy and entertainment.
The "New Girl" Season 6 and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" team and producers divulged the plans of a crossover for the two respective shows on Aug. 8 at Television Critics Association's summer tour for the press. As of writing, reports say the the cast and crew of the two comedy series have been shuttling to and from New York to film scenes.
Movie News Guide also reports that Winston's character in the "New Girl" will have a great part in the crossover. Perhaps his role will be the glue that holds and links together the "New Girl" Season 6 and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." With the crossover of two hit comedy shows, fans can expect a double dose of jokes, wit and humor that will give viewers a new comedic experience. The "New Girl" Season 6 will premiere on Oct. 11.
