Another teaser came out for "American Horror Story" Season 6 that made fans more confused about the real storyline of the TV series. In fact, FX intentionally releases different kinds of trailers to mislead the viewers and build more attraction.
An Array Of Misleading Teasers
"We just thought it would be really fun to keep it a mystery this year. And we are," FX CEO John Landgraf said at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. However, from all of these promotional clips, there will be an only one that tells the new subject of "American Horror Story" Season 6, according to Variety. "They went out and made many more trailers than you've actually seen for hypothetical seasons of 'American Horror Story.' One of them is accurate," the 54-year-old President of the cable channel explained.
The latest teaser FX dropped for "American Horror Story" Season 6 showed a mix of the show's previous seasons, "Murder House," "Asylum," "Coven," "Freak Show" and "Hotel," titled "Anthology." Hence, it is quite assumed that "American Horror Story" Season 6 might have a connection with its predecessors, although nothing is confirmed yet. Another trailer, called "The Harvest," revealed a crowd of straw men trying to run from a scary-looking girl holding a scythe that might ruin them.
'American Horror Story' Season 6 Will Be About Charles Manson?
With that, no one knows which from these teasers tell the real "American Horror Story" Season 6. But, there are swirling rumors that it will be about Charles Manson case, Movie News Guide reported. A fan-made theory by a Twitter user named @CreepyCatalog believes that there is a link with the word "PIG" seen in the trailer called "Lullaby." This is exactly the same statement seen in the Sharon Tate murder case written with a blood by a Manson girl.
Another hint that "American Horror Story" Season 6 might be all about Charles Manson is the teaser photo that showed a woman with spiders in her closed eyes. It has been known that the mass murderer has an obsession with crawls so; it might depict a coming of his storyline. "American Horror Story" Season 6 is still untitled but it will be aired on Sept. 14 on FX.
