Deciding whether to continue with "Wayward Pines" Season 3 has got to do with a lot of numbers from different platforms like television ratings, DVR viewing and streaming. From the start, the series got 3.8 million viewers with 1.1 demo rating. With the second season, it only got 2.4 million with 0.7 demo rate. However, if the DVR numbers are considered, season 2 ratings shoot up to 3.5 million with 1.1 demo rating. These numbers could give season 3 a good fighting chance. As Walden proclaimed, "Wayward Pines" is still the number one show of the summer.
