"Batman" starrer Ben Affleck may have dropped the biggest bombshell for his upcoming movie of all time. As far as fans are concerned, the next villain of the film may be a very fitting choice to start with.

Slade Wilson, otherwise known as Deathstroke, was teased by the Bruce Wayne actor himself. At first, it was all just a simple taker of attention, until confirmation was indeed made for the "Batman"

According to The Wrap, a tweet by Affleck showed a clip in which a familiar character to DC fans can be seen. The black and orange costume belongs to none other than the aforementioned DC assassin, which is finally declared as the official villain to the surfacing solo "Batman" film.

As a quick sense of history lesson before "Batman," Deathstroke is a character fabricated by George Perez and Marv Wolfman during the year 1980 and was first seen in "The New Teen Titans #2." Garnering multiple accolades, Deathstroke the Terminator is dubbed as DC Comics' greatest assassin, going against Batman in the comic renditions, Independent reports.

In one issue, namely the 1991 "City of Assassins," the Dark Knight was nearly pulverized by Deathstroke. Numerous appearances in other forms of media that are not related to the "Batman" film certified that the character is one of the most popular choices as the main antagonist for the film.

The rumor mill has churned, however, as to whether the said assassin will first appear in "Batman" or in the "Justice League" movie. A cameo is a possibility, however, though no sure word was dished out regarding such.

This is not considerably a surprise to many, as some speculations regarding Deathstroke's appearance in "Batman" already surfaced when the character no longer returned to the TV series "Arrow." The creator of the hit show, Marc Guggenheim, disclosed that Deathstroke is affiliated with another DC project, thus resulting in the absence.

Nonetheless, the "Batman" villain already struck pandemonium in to the avid DC fans that cannot wait for his big-screen debut. Warner Bros. set the launch of the relative movie "Justice League" on November 10, 2017.
