"The Incredibles 2" is authentically one of the most awaited continuities in the Pixar animated world. Known as one of the best superhero movies made, the original has quite the staple to surpass or at least go alongside of, but the director behind the flick gave his utmost assurance that it will be something remarkable.
Recognized as a rather fitting family movie for all, "The Incredibles 2" has some pretty big shoes to fill if to directly follow the original. That being said, director Brad Bird dropped some minor hints on what the upcoming second entry could present.
According to Entertainment Weekly, "The Incredibles 2" is still quite distant from being released, though Bird said that the team behind the flick aims to take the second film to a new direction. Bird did not specify as to what aspect of the movie would be swerved or changed, though he claimed that it will be very touching.
As per Slash Film, no plot of "The Incredibles 2" was revealed just yet. Despite the secrecy for the film, one apparent fact that Bird disclosed is his desire to keep the characters intact, as well as the vibe it established while also exploring something new.
It can be recalled that "The Incredibles 2" was somewhat alone in the superhero genre when it showed many years ago. Another hunch is that Bird and the team are cooking up something to topple out the currently growing superhero movie pandemonium.
