Dishonored Dunwall City Trials DLC Release Date And Price

Dishonored, the first-person stealth action adventure video game by Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks, will receive its first expansion titled Dunwall City Trials on Dec. 11, on the PlayStation Network and Windows PC for $4.99 and on Xbox Live for 400 Microsoft Points.

The first downloadable content pack for the game will include 10 challenge maps here are the details from the official press release as reported by Joystiq:

"We are pleased to announce Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials, the first add-on pack for the critically-acclaimed first-person action game developed by Arkane Studios, will be available worldwide on December 11, 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC for $4.99 (or 400 Microsoft Points).

Dunwall City Trials will include 10 challenge maps that will test and track your combat, stealth and mobility skills. Creatively combine your supernatural abilities, weapons and gadgets to eliminate as many targets as possible, fight off waves of tallboys, guards, weepers and thugs, or take out targets in a non-stop run of drop assassinations. Dunwall City Trials also features a new set of achievements and trophies as well as a global online leaderboard. Dishonored is set in the fictional city of Dunwall, an industrial city that has been overcome by a new plague. Gamers take on the role of Corvo Attano, the legendary bodyguard to the Empress who is framed for her murder. He is then forced to flee and become an assassin in order to gain revenge on those who framed him and murder the Empress.

The game has received positive reviews from critics. On GameRankings, Dishonored currently holds an average rating of 90.57 percent based on 14 reviews for the Microsoft Windows version, 89.42 percent based on 30 reviews for the PlayStation 3 version and 89.32 percent rating based on 36 reviews for the Xbox 360 version.

On Metacritic the game has a score of 91-out-of-100 based on 28 reviews for the Microsoft Windows version, an 89-out-of-100 based on 34 reviews for the PlayStation 3 version and an 88-out-of-100 based on 55 reviews for the Xbox 360 version.
