'Resident Evil 7' Rumors, Latest News & Update: Title to Bring Zombies Back; Is the Game's Horror Back on Track?

The anticipated "Resident Evil 7" may be slowly letting the fans know what is to arrive soon enough as new information starts to ascend. Before the anticipated Tokyo Game Show 2016 event, one important piece of information could be in store.

Capcom has been rather generous by giving fans of their long-running "Resident Evil" franchise something to hold on to. "Resident Evil 7" may have shown an utterly mysterious gameplay demo not too long back, but now, Capcom clarified there is more to the game than just the subtle spooks.

According to Tech Times, "Resident Evil 7" aims to bring their spectators back to the original horror theme it once established. This, of course, involves the participation of zombies and those similar to it.

As per NeoGAF under the post of username Dusk Golem, the creatures in "Resident Evil 7" will be zombie-like, which does not necessarily lead to the speculation that they are, indeed, the undead. Some talks of the oppositions being identical to the Ganado or the Majini from the previous "Resident Evil" games.

The humanoid creatures are also not necessarily being ruled out for "Resident Evil 7" just yet. Some speak of the possibility that someone like the Tyrant might appear soon enough, as well as the Afflicted, J'Avo and Ooze.

As for the "Resident Evil 7" gameplay itself, it is expected that the traditional combat system is to take part but with perhaps less, monetary features and the inclusion of the herbs to go along with it. All of such, however is still to be taken as a grain of salt for now.

Will "Resident Evil 7" take the world by storm once more and do justice to the franchise's flaws? Keep it locked for more gaming news and updates.
