The "Black Panther" standalone film is still far from a sure release. As for the actor to play the supposed role, a slight perception on what tone the movie will go for was given.
After his first on-screen appearance in "Captain America: Civil War," fans are now wondering what could be next for the said hero. Some spoilers may be indicated below for future Marvel movies, which includes "Black Panther."
According to Digital Spy, one of the most notable trademarks that Marvel movies have is the feel of their movies, being lighter and with an admirable amount of humor. The case is not the same, though, for "Black Panther," says actor Chadwick Boseman.
As per Game Spot, the titular "Black Panther" will not follow the common norm of the other quirky heroes such as "Iron Man" and "Ant-Man," but will instead head for a grittier, more serious approach. Boseman admitted that he prefers the darker superhero films and that he gets magnetized by the idea.
Boseman's honest statement says that he wants the particular type of atmosphere for "Black Panther," even noting it as challenging. The actor comes to point out that it will be his most personal movie yet, as odd as it may seem, but is the exact uniqueness that the team behind it is be going for.
It is said that "Black Panther" will take the story further after what happened in "Captain America: Civil War," wherein T'Challa was seen staring at his home land which implied his decision on keeping the Winter Soldier Bucky Barnes under his wing. As for who else will be joining the cast, Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan and Danai Gurira are to go alongside Boseman in the film.
"Black Panther" is slated for release on February 9, 2018 for the UK territories, while a later February 16, 2018 for the US. Stay posted for further news and details.
