Need For Speed: Most Wanted - The Ultimate Speed Pack DLC Release Date Announced

EA Games announced the latest piece of downloadable content for Need For Speed Most Wanted. The Ultimate Speed Pack will add "five of the sickest, most ludicrously fast cars ever made: into the game, along with a several new high-speed races and speed runs.

The Ultimate Speed Pack will include the McLaren's F1 LM, Lambo's minimalist artwork, the Aventador J, the track-focused Pagani Zonda, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse and the Hennessey Venom GT.

"The extra speed, acceleration and handling these cars offer will help you guys batter your friends recent Autolog records," EA wrote on its official blog. "Go faster through Speed Cameras and further through Billboards to eradicate your friends' smug faces from billboards throughout Fairhaven City."

The new add-on will provide gamers with a series of new events that are designed specifically for each car, plus the developer has created an all-new Most Wanted Racer event just for the Hennessey Venom GT.

There will be a total of 25 new High Speed Races and Speed Runs and more than 70 new speed themed milestones, plus stacks of additional rewards and unlocks, according to EA.

The Ultimate Speed Pack releases on Dec. 18 for The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live Marketplace, respectively and the Most Wanted in-game store. The game will cost 800 Microsoft point on Xbox Live and $9.99 on Origin and PlayStation Network.

The game's first DLC pack was Time Saver Pack that gave gamers access to every car in the game's multiplayer.
