‘Fallout 4: Nuka World’ News & Update: Bethesda Pays Tribute to Fan who Passed Away, Adding Him as New Character in DLC

"Fallout 4: Nuka World" was released last week as the latest DLC for the Bethesda Game Studio's "Fallout 4." The update was quite unique because it include a content where a fan was immortalized by turning him into one of the characters.

Two months ago, a person whose profile name was NoohjXLVIIA posted a lengthy testimonial about his fondness for "Fallout 4" on the game's Reddit page. He introduced himself as a fan and narrated how he made used of the game's post-apocalyptic Automatron DLC to endure the pain after his father passed away last year.

He created a bi-pedal sentry robot and gave it a name like his father's. The fan said that he did this so the two of them can travel through the "Fallout 4" Wasteland together. However, his grief did not end there because his younger brother Evan also died due to illness. At the end of his note, he described Evan as kind, caring and optimistic person.

Apparently, Bethesda read NoohjXLVII's post and the team was moved. They decided to pay tribute to the kind Evan by creating an Easter egg. To start with, the team behind the "Fallout 4: Nuka World" set-up a home for Evan and added it in the game's latest DLC.

Gamers can see Evan by exploring the far south part of the "Fallout 4: Nuka World" map. He can be seen hanging out in his trailer and players can approach and talk to him in the game. Since Evan has a big heart, he will reward players who drop by and kept him company even for just a bit. Visitors will get a treasure - the secret recipe for Nuka-Love.

Now, the brother who was known as NoohjXLVII learned what Bethesda did for his brother and he immediately expressed his gratitude. On Reddit, adding his real name Andy to his user's name, he wrote a message for the "Fallout 4: Nuka World" game developer.

"They made him too skinny but they caught his essence pretty decently and the words they used sound exactly like him. Thank you again Bethesda, I am forever in your debt," Andy said in the post. Check out Evan and his humble trailer home in the clip below:
