PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro Release Date, News & Update: Consoles Launched In PlayStation Meeting; More Specs, Features & Price Revealed
Sony recently unveiled the brand new PS4 Slim to the public in an event in New York. The game console is just as the same as its predecessors but with a smaller and lighter build, and a new price tag. Sony states that the PS4 Slim will be a standard PS4 going forward and it will replace the original console hardware in the weeks to come.
PS4 Slim Specs and Features
The PS4 Slim has its fair share leaks and news but, in the most recent unveiling, Sony had confirmed the sleeker and lighter PS4 model. The PS4 Slim will ship a redesigned DualShock 4 controller with a lightbar to better point towards the player and see notifications triggered by in-game events.
Sony's PS4 Slim lowered its volume to 30% and weighs 25% percent less than its former model, which is a considerable space saver. The PS4 Slim is also power efficient by using only 34% power whenever gamers play it and it will be completely compatible with most software available for the console.
Meanwhile, the event also introduced the PS4 Pro that will feature a 4K support, a HDR technology, improved resolution, stable frame rates, a USB port in the rear, as well as a 1TB hard drive for more strong games. The PS4 Pro, which will be launched in November 10, will have a price tag of $399.
PS4 Slim Release Date & Price
