‘World of Warcraft’ Release Date, News & Update: Secret Raid Boss Discovery Way To Broken isles Hidden Caves Reveal; Mystery Staple Of Game’s Attacks?
"World of Warcraft: Legion" developers were keeping a secret raid boss, which were accidentally discovered by some players searching for the game's hidden content. The discovery was later confirmed in a Reddit post as well.
Blizzard's "World of Warcraft" has been known for including Easter eggs, which offer different iconic pop culture importance. According to reports, such reputation has made some of the MMORPG's players become excellent detectives for discovering some well-kept Easter eggs, Kotaku reported.
In a recent detailed post by Reddit, a hidden boss named Kosumoth the Hungering, was confirmed to have been produced following a treasure hunt. The search began when the players started looking for an item called, Reins of the Long-Forgotten Hippogryph, in the new Legion zones.
The "World of Warcraft" item, according to the post, has been included in the game files for years, and players have been looking for it, which eventually led to the uncovering of a series of hidden caves in Broken Isles. Also, the discovery brought about a different Easter egg, along with an NPC called Drak'thul, a map that showed the location of more mysterious orbs.
"World of Warcraft" players were also prompted to experiment with clicking every orb in a particular order, to get the proper sequence and create a world event, which eventually created Kosumoth. According to reports, such ingenuity is what makes the previous DDoS attacks on the "World of Warcract" so mysterious.
"World of Warcraft: Legion" is now available on the PC, GameRant reported. While there is no information yet regarding the Kosumoth event, the story about its discovery is seen as remarkable by the fans.
